Oulu Immigrant Council is organanizing an event on community safety at City Hall on Friday, 24 April. Residents are invited to attend an open dialogue with representatives of City of Oulu and the police.
The event on Friday is organized at the initiative of the Oulu Immigrant Council in response to growing concerns about public safety following the most recent stabbing incident in Raksila.
The purpose of the dialogue is to provide a respectful, inclusive forum where residents can share concerns, ask questions, and engage directly with representatives from the city and the police. The Oulu Immigrant Council welcomes this opportunity for constructive and collaborative discussion, ensuring that diverse voices across the community are heard.
Residents from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend and contribute to an open, solution-oriented dialogue aimed at strengthening safety, trust, and community cohesion in Oulu.
The event is at Oulu City Hall’s Council Chamber on Friday, 24 April, 16.00–17.30.
